What kind of support do employers receive?

School staff works closely with employers to ensure that students are ready for the school-to-work learning experience. Teachers prepare the students for the experience and assist them to make meaning from it. Where students are involved in work experience, schools do the recruiting, screening, matching, monitoring and ongoing problem solving with employer input. Students with special needs may be assigned a job coach during the work experience.
