Keyword Searching
Keyword searches are not case sensitive.
Type of Search Example What it does
Multiple Keywords separated by one or more spaces: Sales Executive This is one of the most common searches. For example, typing Sales Executive (two or more keywords with a space between each) will return job ads that contain the keyword Sales and Executive side by side.
Phrase Searching: "Sales Executive" This search is the same as above. The quotations marks are optional.
OR: Sales or Executive Using the operator or means that you will find jobs containing the word "Sales" or the word "Executive", but not necessarily both.
Using commas: Sales, Executive Same as using or (see above).
AND: Sales and Executive Jobs containing both words, although not in any particular order.
NOT: Sales not Executive Jobs containing the word Sales except for those that also contain the word Executive.
AND NOT Combo: Sales and Executive not Manager Jobs containing the word Sales and Executive, except for those that also contain the word Manager.
Parenthesis: (Web or HTML or Internet) and (Programmer or Developer) This is a more complex search. In this example, the search will check job ads for a variety of words: Web programmer, HTML programmer, Internet programmer, Web developer, HTML developer, Internet developer, and so on.
